GIOLL 2 GJOLL The river that divides the worlds of the living from the afterlife. The bridge giallarbru crosses this river. The god hermod crossed the Gioll over Giallarbru as he hurried to res-cue the spirit of balder, odin's son, shortly after Balder's death.
